These terms cover your use of Bloom, a Mac application. By downloading, installing or using Bloom, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Bloom. They're written to be read, not to be impressive — if something here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

What Bloom is

Bloom fills forms, prepares you for meetings, and acts on your voice, using the profile and documents you give it. It runs on your Mac and keeps your data there. When you trigger something that needs a model or a connected service, Bloom sends what that job needs and nothing else. ThePrivacy page is the precise account of what leaves your Mac and when; it's part of these terms.

Your account

Signing in creates a Bloom account tied to your email address or your Google account. Use an address you actually control — it's how you get back in, and how we reach you about the service. Anyone who can sign in as you can reach what Bloom holds for you, so keep that access secure. You need to be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. You can stop using Bloom and delete your account whenever you want.

What's yours

The profile, documents, recipes and history you put into Bloom are yours. Bloom stores them on your Mac, not on a Bloom server, and we claim no ownership of them. You grant us only what's needed to run the features you trigger.

You're responsible for having the right to use what you put in. Don't load someone else's identity documents, or anyone's data you aren't authorized to handle.

Connected services

When you connect Google, Slack, Notion or anything else, you authorize Bloom to read what that connection's consent screen names — no more. Your use of those services stays governed by their own terms, and they can change or revoke access at any time, independently of us. Disconnecting in Bloom revokes what we hold.

Check what Bloom fills before you submit it

This is the clause that matters most. Bloom uses AI to decide which value belongs in which field, and AI gets things wrong — it can misread a document, mishear a word, or put a correct answer in the wrong box. Bloom shows you its proposed values before it writes them, and you are the one who submits the form.

You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit — to a government, an employer, a bank, or anyone else. Read it first. Bloom is a tool that types faster than you, not a party to your filing.

Acceptable use

Don't use Bloom to:

• fill forms with data you aren't authorized to use, or impersonate anyone;
• commit fraud, or break the law where you are;
• attack, overload, reverse-engineer, or work around the limits of the service;
• resell or redistribute Bloom, or operate it as a service for other people.

We may suspend or end access that does any of these.

Ownership

Bloom's software, design and name are ours. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app, and nothing further. Parts of Bloom are built on open-source software, which stays governed by its own licences.

Availability

Bloom is early software under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed. There's no uptime guarantee, and the AI and connector services Bloom depends on can fail or change without notice to us. We may change or discontinue the service. If we do, your data stays where it always was — on your Mac.

No warranty

Bloom is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that Bloom will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that what it produces will be correct.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits or lost data, nor for any loss arising from something Bloom filled, submitted, transcribed or sent. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the previous twelve months or fifty US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't permit us to limit — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Ending it

You can stop using Bloom at any time. Bloom's one-button reset erases what it holds locally and revokes your connected services. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed. If a change is significant, we'll say so in the app or by email. Continuing to use Bloom after a change means you accept it.
